Two production facilities – one production process

Harry à Wengen has two production facilities. The piston rods are ground and polished in the Talmühle factory. This site is also home to the training workshop. All further components for cylinder engineering are produced in Oberhaugstett. The finished products are also assembled, tested and painted there.

Through continuous investment in our machinery we have available all major production technologies from mechanical machining, heat treatment, electroplating and painting to automatic assembly and testing.

Our machinery includes deep hole drilling machines, a wet grinding machine, a submerged arc welding machine, a deep hole drilling machine with skiving and roller burnishing tool and CNC lathes on which work pieces of up to 3.5 m can be machined. Another welding machine enables submerged arc welding up to a maximum of 8 m. Furthermore the machinery comprises a Kekeisen milling centre up to 8 m, a conventional 10 m lathe and CNC machines up to 4.5 m.
